The 519 Community Collective works to meet the needs of those living without homes, in shelters, or in transitional living. Serve with the 519 this year through projects including food prep, furniture moving, and landscaping!

Adventure4Change inspires change in our community by helping kids, youth and moms make meaningful contributions to society. Help at A4C’s annual Soccer Season kickoff!

The Centreville-Chicopee Community Centre serves the neighbours of our Kitchener Campus! Come and serve this community in a super fun way through our annual Family Fun Day Carnival. There are a variety of positions you can serve in!

COMPASS Refugee Centre is a social impact charity helping people navigate the refugee claim process and now life in Ontario. Come and serve at COMPASS’s annual Family Picnic in July!

Creekside’s Kid’s Ministry not only ministers to children of Creekside, but to the community at large through our 2 playgrounds! Help make our Waterloo and Kitchener playgrounds sparkling clean.

Food4Kids provides food for children experiencing chronic hunger at times when they are not in school and need it most. Help to portion and pack food for kids in our region!

Grassroots Response KW is taking a community approach to displaced Ukrainians in KW. Help with a fundraising event or moving furniture into new homes!

Indwell is a Christian organization that provides supportive housing in order to transform lives. Help with gardening or a BBQ at Indwell’s various locations!

The Working Centre helps our community through employment services, meal distribution, shelter support and many other outreach avenues. Come and serve at a BBQ at the King St. Shelter location!

Lutherwood provides mental health, employment and housing services. Come and help get their Benjamin road property ready for the spring!

Marillac place provides a safe home and support for new or expecting mothers in KW. Help to paint one of their spaces!

MCC Thrift is a non-profit thrift shop, in which all profits go toward MCC’s global relief and development projects. Help to sort and price thrifted items!

Ontario Gleaners is a “Food Bank to the World”, providing dried meals to feed those in need. Come and help trim and prepare vegetables!

Ray of Hope demonstrates the love of Christ by investing in people, inspiring hope and transforming lives. Help Ray of Hope serve lunch to many guests!

Prayer in the Park is a gathering of believers in Waterloo Region to seek God for our community. Help to serve as the welcoming crew for this event!

Relay for Life is the Canadian Cancer Society’s annual fundraising event, providing hope to many affected by cancer in our community. Help in a variety of positions at this year’s Relay for Life in Breslau.

oneROOF Youth Services provides for the safety, support and well-being of youth at risk of or experiencing homelessness. Help to put together some summer “treat-kits” for youth that they serve!

These apartments provide clean, welcoming spaces for seniors in St. Jacob’s. Help to spruce up their garden areas!

The Sunnydale Community Centre provides many programs and services for residents of the Sunnydale community. Come and help to get their youth garden ready for the season!

Supportive Housing of Waterloo (SHOW) provides housing, programs, services and supports to help transform lives in our region. Come and help to paint and/or furnish their community space!

The Pregnancy Centre provides practical resources and emotional support to those pregnant or parenting through crisis. Help to paint their washroom, or create hygiene packages that will also go towards the Grand River Hospital.
